About the role
We are on the look-out for a highly experienced and passionate Clinical Manager to lead and inspire our fabulous clinical team at Karori Village in Wellington. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be coordinating clinical service delivery and providing leadership to the clinical team so that consistency of care is maintained.
The role will require you to work Tuesday to Saturday and share the 'on-call' requirement.
Some of the great things you will be doing:
Ensuring Gerontological 'Best Practice' is delivered and maintained, ensuring a high standard of clinical care and knowledge
Managing clinical staff through informal coaching, formal performance reviews, and ensuring that care staff are trained and supported in delivering high-quality care
Maintaining positive relationships with residents and families, encouraging proactive two-way communication
Working with the Village Manager, Clinical Team and other team members to ensure all aspects of audit preparation are undertaken
About you
You are a highly experienced Clinical Manager ideally with a background in Aged Care, looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge leading a high performing team in our Care facility.
Here's what will help you succeed in this role:
You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
5+ years' relevant aged care experience
Strong and proven team leadership experience with leading a high performing team
Strong understanding of gerontological and clinical best practice preferable
Operational and quality management of business systems and processes, drives for quality improvements
