About the Role
People and Capability aim to ensure our people are safe, enabled and empowered to deliver Our Business. As a Recruitment Advisor, you’ll work with a high performing recruitment team in a very interesting industry!

Your role will involve managing the end to end recruitment for a wide range of roles and districts across police. You’ll enjoy the variety involved in learning about our different workgroups, and in building relationships with police staff all over the country - no two days will be the same! Our team is responsible for continuous improvement initiatives to ensure we’re delivering the best recruitment service possible. We work collaboratively across the organisation with various workgroups and with our external recruitment partners.

Key Accountabilities:
High volume recruitment advisory
Talent Selection
Applicant care/management
Building relationships with hiring managers
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
We’re looking for an experienced and resilient recruiter with end to end recruitment practice who is confident managing varied and at times highly specialised roles. As a high performing team, we have built a culture that is engaging and positive and are looking for someone who shares our vision.
An understanding of recruitment systems (ideally SAP Success Factors) would be an advantage.

What you’ll bring

Our Core Competencies provide a shared understanding of the behaviours, leadership and technical competence required for success at each level of Police. Whilst we are looking for skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role, we also place high importance on your state of mind, the alignment of your values with ours, your ability to contribute to and build high performing teams, and the way that you lead yourself or others.

This role is set at Individual Contributor level, this means your key purpose is “to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business”.

We will ask you questions based on “How we will deliver Our Business – Core Competencies” and the appropriate role level, i.e. Individual Contributor. For more information on Our Core Competencies, please copy and paste this

Information technology (IT) is the application of computers to store, study, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data, or information, often in the context of a business or other enterprise. IT is considered a subset of information and communications technology (ICT). In 2012, Zuppo proposed an ICT hierarchy where each hierarchy level "contain[s] some degree of commonality in that they are related to technologies that facilitate the transfer of information and various types of electronically mediated communications". The term is commonly used as a synonym for computers and computer networks, but it also encompasses other information distribution technologies such as television and telephones. Several industries are associated with information technology, including computer hardware, software, electronics, semiconductors, internet, telecom equipment, and e-commerce. Humans have been storing, retrieving, manipulating, and communicating information since the Sumerians in Mesopotamia developed writing in about 3000 BC, but the term information technology in its modern sense first appeared in a 1958 article published in the Harvard Business Review; authors Harold J. Leavitt and Thomas L. Whisler commented that "the new technology does not yet have a single established name. We shall call it information technology (IT)." Their definition consists of three categories: techniques for processing, the application of statistical and mathematical methods to decision-making, and the simulation of higher-order thinking through computer programs.
