Salary range: $75,114 - $88,266 + Kiwi Saver + wellness benefits.

The Opportunity NZGP is a branch within The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

We have a vision for New Zealand’s government procurement to be fair, transparent, inclusive, and efficient.

It will deliver more value and respond to changing government priorities.

While we live and breathe procurement, our branch is a support function to those doing the mahi in the procurement system – government agencies and the suppliers and providers they work with.

We are less of a procurement shop than a shop filled with data, systems, communications, contract and project management people who love procurement.

And yes, we have some procurement specialists! Tēnei tūranga - About the Role: We’re keen to hear from you if you have: Experience delivering strategic communications and engagement.

Knowledge of best practice communications and engagement.

Excellent writing, editing and oral communications skills, able to design and deliver written communications material and tailor messages to different audiences, and through different channels.

Experience managing digital communications channels.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or New Zealand permanent residents and be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearances.

This is a full-time role.
