Based in Christchurch, this role will initially operate remotely, providing flexibility while supporting the firm's expansion across the South Island.
This is a front‐office, revenue‐driving role focused on capital raising, investor relationship management, and brand representation, suited to a commercially minded professional with strong investor networks or proven capital‐raising capability.

The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Investment Manager will be responsible for raising capital into the firm's investment products, managing investor relationships, and expanding referral and partner networks across the South Island investor market.
This is a hands‐on, outward‐facing role with clear performance expectations and direct impact on funds under management (FUM).
Key Responsibilities Raising capital into investment products through existing networks and proactive outreach Building and managing relationships with wholesale and high‐net‐worth investors Leading investor meetings, presentations, and ongoing communications Developing referral partnerships with accountants, advisers, brokers, lawyers, and family offices Representing the firm at investor events, roadshows, and presentations Managing investor onboarding and wholesale eligibility requirements Maintaining CRM pipelines, investor reporting, and capital‐raising forecasts About You This opportunity will suit an Investment or Capital Raising professional who: Has experience in capital raising, private wealth, investment distribution, or financial services business development Brings an existing investor network or the ability to develop one quickly Is confident presenting investment opportunities with credibility and clarity Operates with high integrity and a relationship‐driven mindset Is self‐driven, organised, and comfortable managing a pipeline end‐to‐end You will likely bring5–10+ years' experience in investment management, capital raising, or financial services Exposure to private credit, managed funds, property funds, or mortgage investment products Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with wholesale investor onboarding and compliance frameworks Why Join?High‐impact capital‐raising role with direct influence on funds under management Exposure to sophisticated private credit and secured lending products Autonomy and direct access to senior leadership Long‐term career opportunity within a scaling financial services platform About KPI Partners KPI Partners is a specialist Financial Services recruitment partner and advisory firm, working across Investment, Lending, Wealth, and Insurance.
