We know how to celebrate the wins and support each other through challenges.

We are a diverse set of people who genuinely enjoy seeing each other daily, with various working practices from fully remote to 100% in the office on the Wellington waterfront.

How to Apply We know some of you won't apply for this role because you don't meet all our criteria.

We'd encourage you to apply even if you think you don't meet all of them or if it feels like a stretch to you.

We're interested in finding great people to work with and we know they might not always be who we're expecting.

We're committed to improving the number of people in our Flick tech team who are currently excluded in tech.

We don't mind if you're self-taught or never formally studied.

We're interested in the skills you have now, what you might bring us, and what you want to learn in the future.

We're also open to changing how we do things to better meet your needs.

For example, we're happy to change our interview process to better accommodate you whether that means bringing a support person to speak on your behalf or simply working around your childcare needs.

If you feel comfortable asking us to change anything from holding an interview online to reduce covid risk or some other accommodation around our programming challenges we'll be happy to talk it through with you and make sure it works for all of us.

Interview processes can be stressful and we're keen to reduce that stress where we can.
