Laminex NZ is seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy L&D Manager to lead our Learning and Development function for Project Burgundy. This pivotal role will ensure our Taupo production teams are equipped with the best learning, systems tools and resources to transition from our current manufacturing site to our brand-new state of the art production facility seamlessly. This is a fixed term role for 12 months, commencing in July 2025. It will be based in our Auckland head office with frequent travel to the Taupo site as we get closer to completion. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective L&D strategies, frameworks and systems to maximize learning outcomes. Conduct thorough needs analysis to validate training requirements, working with assessors on achieving the required standard of training compliance. Work closely with Laminex stakeholders and external suppliers to communicate and roll out training, and training materials, to ensure alignment between learning programs and business objectives. Work closely with SOP writers, who will report to you, to ensure training materials are effectively integrated and tailored. Create and utilize internal systems to present information in a digestible manner, facilitating smooth transitions to BAU and onboarding processes. Report, track and assess learning metrics to provide insight into competence, learning completed and ROI. Requirements: Expertise and experience in a dedicated Learning and Development role, preferrable within the manufacturing or construction sectors. Strong technical skills and experience with new project/site setups. Excellent ability to coordinate training efforts and think through the best ways to deliver training. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Willingness to travel frequently to Taupo, including some overnight stays.
