Description

Procurement R&A Functional Lead PPG Industries Location : Shanghai CHQ / Tianjin MSD This role requires strong influence, relationship-building, project management and collaboration abilities.

S / he will work across all areas of the PPG enterprise, including every function, SBU and region, as well as with all SBU stakeholders and partner agencies of the SAP Global Template Program team.

S / he will establish a deep understanding of the program and the most significant changes that impact the workforce, while ensuring approaches and tactics deliver a full understanding of the change in various cultures, work settings, and business units.

S / he will use this program knowledge to equip leaders and managers with tools to lead, influence and engage their teams, while also ensuring they themselves are well-versed in the need for change(s).

S / he will also work closely with the Corporate Communications team to leverage enterprise channels, and ensure alignment to company messaging, the PPG brand, processes, priorities, etc.

Will report to Strategic Sourcing Manager.

Key Responsibilities Contribute to the development and execute strategic change management plan for SAP Global Template Program with external agencies and internal partners Engage PPG's senior leadership, business / functional leaders and front-line managers as ambassadors and advocates of the program to ensure adoption Engage agency partners to determine the most effective engagement cadence and segmentation for audiences that range from PPG's executive committee to employees working in transactional roles Closely collaborate and interpret messaging from internal and external change management partners to ensure clarity of message for each stakeholder group Align to and execute transition plan and support within country / region legal language requirements upon completion of implementation Work directly with Director, SAP Global Template Implementation and PMO on general messaging and strategy Support needs of the assigned workstream in terms of end-user readiness, stakeholder engagement, risk tracking and mitigation, Super User engagement, and more Partner with regional sites and take responsibility for end-user engagement, readiness and adoption Ensures change plan activities support behavior and mindset shifts that yield expected business results Qualifications Minimum of ten years of change management experience at the corporate or business level.

At least two years of change management experience within a business (non-corporate) Ability to work within teams and motivate diverse personalities Ability to work with all levels of an organization (from the manufacturing front-line to the Operating Committee) Experience reporting on qualitative data and change KPIs and establishing action plans to address gaps and issues.

Proven ability to manage complex and long-term communications projects.

Extra At least two years of PPG change management experience.

Bachelor's degree in industrial psychology, psychology, communications or related field.

Prosci change management certification Track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

Experience managing a team based in different locations, regions.

Experience working with people / groups with different cultures than his / her own.

Experience in supply chain communications.

About the SAP Global Template Program : PPG started the Global Template Initiative in 2021 to drive standardization across businesses and regions and consolidate various ERP systems into single global SAP S / 4 HANA platform.

The Global Template design was completed where business requirements across businesses and regions were reviewed, global standard processes were designed, and key design decisions were documented.

The next phase of work is to identify gaps, build solutions and implement these processes using SAP's S / 4 platform integrated with PPG applications footprint.

PPG will map this plan to implement standard processes around the globe in five or more years.
