Principal Practice Consultant - Family Works
About the Role
The role of the Principal Practice Consultant is to lead client-centric practice for Family Works, Presbyterian Support Central clients in partnership with staff, developing and implementing appropriate standards, monitoring processes, quality systems and professional development that ensures Family Works clients’ needs are met. To ensure that all services offered by Family Works are reflective of best practice and are fully compliant with legal and contractual obligations.
This role will support the committed and established teams across the region - providing supervision and practice development.
It requires an enthusiastic professional committed to providing quality services in the Wellington community. Strong links and knowledge of this community is essential. You need to hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Counselling, therapy or Social Work and have experience of delivering services to vulnerable families and their children.
You will also work closely with the Service Manager to develop and progress our exciting and diverse range of contracts and services in the Wellington community.

If you have a dynamic and flexible approach to work, previous success as a supervisor, a commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and sound cultural practices then get in touch!
You will possess a social services qualification along with NGO social services experience. You will have worked with quality assurance processes and have proven abilities of being an enabler to support practice development.
