The Liaison Advisor is a full-time permanent role and plays a key role in promoting the full range of EIT programmes to future students and the wider community. This role supports learner recruitment, provides high‑quality customer service, and builds strong relationships across the Tairāwhiti region. Working closely with schools, community groups, and internal academic teams, the position ensures prospective learners are well‑informed, supported, and connected to study pathways.
The appointing salary for this role will dependent on skills and experience.
This Liaison Advisor position is based within the Marketing & Communications team at the Tairāwhiti Campus , reporting to the Events and Engagement Manager . Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing strategies to increase student enrolments.
Supporting future students with programme advice and through the enrolment process.
Delivering excellent customer service in the Information Centre (reception).
Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools and community stakeholders.
Organising and hosting campus visits and events for future students.

To be successful in this role you will have: Substantial Public Relations, Marketing, or Promotional experience.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
Confidence and experience in making public presentations.
An understanding of customer service principles and marketing practice.
