Responsibilities include:
Oversee the procurement, storage, and management of our liquor inventory. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and market developments in the liquor industry. Provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers on liquor selections based on their preferences and needs. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product availability. Conduct tastings, product demonstrations, and educational sessions for customers. Monitor sales trends and analyse data to identify opportunities for product optimization and expansion. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements. Requirements:
Proven experience working in a similar role within the liquor industry, preferably in a wholesale or retail environment. In-depth knowledge of different types of liquor, including spirits, wine, and beer, as well as production methods, flavour profiles, and pairings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. Excellent organisational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
