The Speech-language Therapist plays a key role in a multidisciplinary team, working closely with clinicians to assess and manage acute and chronic impairments, contribute to discharge planning, and provide ongoing interventions to help clients remain functional at home and in their communities.

If you are passionate about improving communication and managing swallow impairments across various clinical areas (acute medical, rehabilitation, and paediatrics), this role in our small, dynamic team might be perfect for you. Our team is well-supported by allied health and multidisciplinary colleagues, with strong links to regional and national SLT networks.
About you
Qualifications required:
Registered with the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association with a current practising certificate.
Experience in adult and paediatric general health settings.
Flexible, enthusiastic, and team-oriented clinician.
Dedicated to providing excellent clinical care.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday. Part-time applicants are also welcome to apply.
