The opportunity
 
You will join a commercially focused business and report directly to the Country Manager. Your key responsibilities include, though are not limited to:

Ownership of the logistics function for the importation/warehousing and inventory management of all products.
Responsible for ensuring all release orders and order confirmations.
Work with freight forwarders to manage shipment tracking and delivery dates.
Liaise with internal stakeholders from Business Managers and key stakeholders within the 3pl. 
Work with the 3pl to ensure KPI’s are set and worked to, while maintaining a high level of communication. 
Lead day to day inventory activities across the site.
Manage and maintain a high level of stock accuracy running cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.
Reporting of inventory KPI’s in line with clients service level agreements to ensure accurate reporting.

We are looking for someone who comes from a background in inventory, warehousing and logistics with demonstrated experience in leading inventory activities. 3PL experience would be desirable though is not essential. What is essential is experience in key inventory positions whereby you can talk us through your proven success in leading inventory activities.
 
The challenge will be balancing your workload as this site can move at a pace not many are used to. It would only suit someone who likes to be busy and is up for the challenge of a busy role.
