Processing Officer | Permanent | Sundays only| Christchurch

As a  Processing Officer,  you will be a critical element of the supply chain delivery of freight and parcels to our customers. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring freight and products are sorted, processed and dispatched correctly and within established timeframes to be handed over to our couriers.
In this dynamic job you will:

Sort our customers' parcels and freight from our  Syd Bradley Depot
Dispatch correctly to our couriers to ensure they can deliver on time
Handle freight in a careful and professional manner
Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required
To be successful in this role you will be:
Be available to work Sundays between 7.00am and 3.30pm
Ready for a physically demanding role – heavy lifting is required
A team player, supporting and building a connected team
Have good geographical knowledge
This role will suit someone who is has high attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and who can work as a team.
