Aviation Security Officer (ASO) position available with CAA and Avsec
Responsible for pre-flight security screening and baggage screening
Comprehensive 6-week training program with NZQA Level 4 qualification

Responsibilities
• Carry out pre-flight security screening and hold baggage screening
• Perform mobile, foot and static patrols
• Ensure ID cards are displayed appropriately in security areas
• Prevent breaches of aviation security and safety
• Attend evening Assessment Centre and daytime interview for January 2024 intake
Requirements
• NZ/Australian citizenship or NZ residency
• Compliance with all Health and Safety procedures
• Medically and physically fit
• Willingness to undergo medical assessment
• Ability to work a shift pattern
• Hold a full clean NZ driver's licence
• Availability for evening Assessment Centre and daytime interview in mid to late November 2023
