About the positionThis post is for a fix term 1 year contract, full time Occupational Therapist to work across the inpatient and community team with opportunities for a rotational position. We have a strong commitment to regular supervision (formal and informal), peer supervision and professional development with a variety of training opportunities to facilitate your learning needs.We are patient-focused, utilise the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement to drive our process, and measures our patient outcomes. We use an evidenced based approach in our assessments and interventions and we are quality driven. We work in an inter-disciplinary environment promoting independence, health and well-being for the people of our community. We are looking for someone (ideally with experience) to work across the orthopaedic, medical, paediatric, rehabilitation and surgical wards. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn about wheelchair and seating assessments, pressure care intervention, cognitive assessments and housing modification assessments.
