No qualifications or prior experience are required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure all Kaiawhina I Support Workers are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need.
Whakangungu l Training Paid training!Our Kaiawhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two – four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.
We cover the basics of support including: Infection prevention control Moving and Handling Medication management Practical tasks including personal cares, compression therapy, meal preparation etc.
