We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Oncologist to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a permanent basis.The Southern Blood and Cancer Service provides a team of eight Medical Oncologists and one nurse practitioner, five Radiation Oncologists and six Haematologists working in a tertiary referral centre with strong links to the School of Medicine at Otago University. Dunedin Hospital is a 350-bed teaching and training institution that offers a full complement of sub-specialities and a training site for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. As such we encourage and support staff research and their continuing medical education. Our Service has a solid research program and we would welcome applications from Physicians with a sub-speciality interest or those with an interest in teaching.Our Service provides regional care and covers the lower South Island so you would be required to participate in outreach clinics.
