About the role Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this Management Accountant role sits at the centre of the business's financial operations, providing both strong financial control and meaningful commercial insight across multiple entities.
This is a broad and hands‐on position suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and contributing to financial outcomes across a dynamic and evolving business.
Key responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities, including P& L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing clear commentary and recommendations Manage intercompany transactions, internal recharging and group‐level financial reporting Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and support financial control processes across the group Co‐lead year‐end processes and statutory obligations including review of GST, PAYE and other compliance requirements Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow modelling for the business and project activities Partner with project teams and business leaders to provide financial insights on performance, costs and margins Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting processes and overall financial efficiency across the group What we are looking for CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards qualification Approximately 3–5 years' experience in management accounting, financial reporting or audit/business advisory Experience working across multiple entities or project‐based environments advantageous Strong Excel capability and analytical skills Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide practical insights Personal attributes Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within deadlines Confident communicator who can work effectively with non‐financial stakeholders Motivated, adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment Down-to-earth personality with the ability to build relationships across the business This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accountant looking to broaden their experience across financial control, management reporting and project‐related finance within a growing and commercially focused organisation.
