We are seeking a Manager - Service Integration to join the newly established Workforce Design Team in Te Pou Ohumahi Mātauranga | Education Workforce.
This role is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts to deliver to deliver high-quality products and services that align with our goals, and enhance the experience of the education workforce towards achieving positive and equitable outcomes for ākonga.
As Manager - Service Integration, your team will undertake investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change, contributing to the Service Design programme of work.

Our team is based in central Wellington. However, we are open to applicants located across the country.
Salary range: $117,611 - $176,417 per annum + 3% kiwi saver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

We're looking for experienced business analyst with proven leadership experience in coaching and mentoring others to achieve outcomes. You are able to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, operations and support teams across the Ministry to integrate service design principles and deliver cohesive and seamless experiences. You will foster strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making to ensure a customer-centric approach.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

Te Pou Ohumahi Mātauranga | Education Workforce is a key part of the Ministry.
We develop the education workforce strategy, including a focus on specialist services, employment relations, pay equity, education payroll, supply and scholarship functions. Our group ensures the system has the right people in the right places at the right time for early learning, kōhanga reo, schools and kura. We have links to tertiary education organisations, in particular wānanga, iwi and Māori, peak bodies and others, in the co-design of solutions to workforce challenges, such as provision of teachers with te reo and mātauranga Māori knowledge and Pacific languages.
The newly established Workforce Design Team within Te Pou Ohumahi Mātauranga is focused on making key improvements to the services and initiatives offered to our education workforce, so that they are easy to access and navigate. We work with the sector to understand the needs of users and design integrated, equitable and accessible solutions.
