Description : Overview: An inspiring leader who will shape and manage the agency to drive delivery of the vision, commercial objectives and optimize profitability as well as actively lead client business.

Key responsibilities: Team Leadership and Development An internal figurehead who will inspire, set direction and lead by example.

Ensure all agency teams understand the agency vision and are motivated and feel supported to help deliver against it.

Create and contribute to a thriving agency culture.

Convey the agency's offering, philosophy and vision to clients and potential recruits.

Recruit and manage the senior team in the agency.

Partner with the SLT to ensure best practice systems and processes are in place.

Effective line-management of all direct reports – deliver regular and constructive feedback, identify strategies for developing individuals.

Be a decisive and supportive team leader on client business, setting direction and absorbing pressure.

Regularly update ANZ CEO on important agency updates.

Client Business and Project Leadership and Direction Effectively lead client business at a senior level.

Ensure teams deliver ongoing improved TRR (The Referral Rating client service) scores and implement with account teams action plans as required to tackle any TRR issues.

Provide high-level strategic direction on client business as a whole and on individual briefs.

Develop and implement ambitious and insightful Account Plans. Commercial Control and Business Development Work with the CFO to maximize agency profitability.

Accountability for accurate forecasting across the agency.

Ensure delivery of income against agreed forecasts and implement action plans to tackle any issues arising with budgets.

Negotiate effectively with clients and suppliers.

In conjunction with CFO, negotiate (favourable) contracts and ensure we deliver against our obligations.

Develop plans for organic growth for clients with the SLT.

Drive agency's efforts in new business, seeking out prime opportunities and leading and managing teams to convert pitches.

Actively look for and deliver on opportunities to grow existing business by building client relationships.

Identify and realize other opportunities to increase revenue.

Client Service Excellence Work with SLT to set and uphold standards in client service.

Administer TRR in order to identify opportunities to improve service and implement changes to achieve this.

Drive Account Planning process – working with SLT, to ensure quality plans are developed implemented and regularly reviewed in order to ensure we have strategies in place on all client business to achieve our objectives.

Establish a co-operative culture between teams Foster a shared agenda with clients, inspiring them and giving them the confidence to be adventurous.

Optimising Agency Operations Partner with SLT to strategically manage agency operations; identify requirement for and implement operational change.

Put in place and oversee relevant operational meetings and reporting processes.

Agency Profile & Marketing Lead an effective marketing plan to raise the profile of the agency and its key executives with business and trade media and bodies across New Zealand and the region.

Ensure your personal brand is prominent across the NZ industry through engagement with media, events, conferences and industry bodies.
