Backed by a global parent company they are a leader in the supply of the local and international infant formula market, manufacturing to the strictest of quality (GMP) conditions.The Opportunity Reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Manager, you will be leading all quality activities and input to NPD projects including risk assessment, mitigation actions and change controls to support project launching in a timely manner. As such you will be working closely with operations, marketing, R&D and the regional Quality and Food Safety team. Your ProfileWe are looking for an enthusiastic, smart, and positive thinking candidate that wants to make a real difference and take on significant responsibilities. Though there are no direct reports to this role, you will need to build relationships and positively motivate and influence stakeholders to collect data and meet project timelines. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years quality assurance and regulatory experience, covering industry standards including FSSC22000, HACCP, RMP and other Food Safety standards, looking for a step up into a leadership position. Applicants should have the following attributes, qualifications and experience: Tertiary science qualification with a major in chemistry, microbiology or food scienceMinimum of 3 years QA/QC experience within the dairy, nutraceutical or food industryA strong analytical and methodical mindsetStrong relationship building skills and proven ability influencing stakeholdersHighly effective communication and problem solving skillsSound computer skills, high attention to detail and ability to convey data Benefits:In return, our client offers global career development, a supportive national and international team and the opportunity for you to meet your own career goals.
