Geek out over cameras, switchers, and sound gear?We’re on the hunt for a Broadcast AV Technician to join our client's team for a 12 month fixed-term contract (40 hours per week) with the potential for extension. Based in Northcote, Auckland, this role is all about bringing live content to life. Your working hours will generally be in the afternoon and evening, depending on livestream production schedules. What You’ll Be Doing Managing the technical requirements of livestream production. Operating the Black Magic Live Switcher and accessories during the livestream. Operating audio mixer and accessories. Troubleshooting any issues with the livestream equipment. Troubleshooting any greenscreen requirements. Working with film crew to ensure the smooth running of the live production. Communicating the technical needs to the relevant managers and crew. Regular maintenance of livestream, sound equipment and accessories. Loading up all the b-roll clips, motion graphics and lower thirds into the live switcher each day. Working closely with the show producers and creative team to ensure the needs are met. Availability to work various hours and days based on production requirements. What You’ll Need5+ years of experience in live event content production and/or equivalent television/online video industry experience. Advanced experience on livestream and sound equipment. Ability to stay cool under pressure and troubleshoot on the fly. A passion for live production, video content, and tech-driven storytelling.
