This role is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience through developing and improving processes, procedures and activities throughout operations to ensure targets are met across cost, quality and delivery.
Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
Use a ‘hand on’ approach, to proactively utilize both lean principles and problem-solving tools and techniques for documenting and improving processes and training staff.
Provide leadership and support to Sourcing, Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Inventory function to enable efficient delivery of customer orders: in full, on time and in spec.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the MRP/ERP system
Liaise with freight forwarding companies and ensure that customers’ needs are being met by third parties shipping agents.
Ensure operations systems data integrity
Effective use of MRP system processes and policies to execute: inventory turns, excess, obsolete and aging profiles; purchasing/supplier performance reporting; on-time delivery performance reporting;
Support continuous improvement initiatives to generate measurable benefits for Loadrite and Loadrite customers.
Support the release of new products to market through NPI activities
Establish procedures and policies following good management practices in line with ISO 9000 requirements.
Experience in manufacturing operations / supply chain role
Tertiary education in Engineering or Operations Management
Ability to identify and execute process improvement
Excellent organizational and time management skills
