We are looking for a Senior 3 D Designer to join our Engineering Team, based at Kinleith Mill in Tokoroa.
Reporting to the Information Management Lead, this permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives on digital innovation, technical precision, and strategic impact.
You will play a key role in developing and maintaining digital 2 D and 3 D models of mill sections, supporting capital and maintenance projects, and ensuring the integrity of Kinleith's intellectual knowledge.

A typical day will see you: Developing and maintaining plant digital models and integrating with CAD systems Supporting capital and maintenance projects through accurate draughting and design Collaborating with engineers and project controllers to model new or modified plant assets Recommending and evaluating plant scanning technologies and CAD software integration Supporting information management strategies and protecting intellectual property Ensuring technical documentation is current, accessible, and compliant Managing drawing office operations and contributing to cost-effective project delivery To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in engineering draughting and 3 D modelling, ideally within a heavy industry environment.
You will demonstrate a strong knowledge of CAD systems and digital twin technologies, along with familiarity in plant scanning tools and integration strategies.
A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential.
