Our values are Think Differently, Earn Trust and Achieve Together and we live by this every day.About the RoleOur Industrial Aluminium team based in Highbrook is looking for a Senior Customer Service Representative to provide sales and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Trade Centre. You will thrive in a busy varied environment where you will provide clarity and guidance for day-to-day work that contributes to a high performing customer focused team. You will assist the Customer Service Manager with driving continuous process improvement and a service excellence culture where we are "easy to do business with". Responding to customer queries, assisting with their orders and supplying quotes through a mix of phone, email and in person at our Trade Counter is all part of what you will do. Counter sales are a large part of the role where you are responsible for the full end to end process including picking and cutting aluminium to the required lengths. Your other duties will include:Building a great rapport with our customersProviding day-to-day guidance and training to two customer service team membersPreparing quotes for our customers and processing orders in full on timeDealing with customer complaints and identifying corrective actionsMaximising sales opportunities to existing and potential customersWorking closely with the Account Managers and assisting to develop customer accountsMonitoring stock levels, assisting with stock take and supporting in the warehouse when required.About YouOur ideal candidate will have worked in Industrial related Customer Service, Trade Counter sales roles. You will be someone who is looking to learn our industry and business in a hands-on role. You will be highly organised, self-motivated and a team player who can develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. To be successful in this role, you will have:Solid experience in customer service or counter sales roles with strong admin skillsPlenty of interaction with sales and manufacturingProven communication and influencing skills - verbal and writtenConfidence in managing customer relationships and solving problemsBe a practical person who thinks outside the squareHigh attention to detail with good mathematics and unit of measure conversion skillsComputer literacy and knowledge of MS Word and ExcelA full and current driver licenceExperience in SAP and operating a forklift preferred but not essential.
