Taieri Lakes Golf Course is an 18-hole course with tree lined fairways and five lakes situated 15 minutes from the Octagon (92 Milners Road, North Taieri). Current membership of 430.
About the Role
This role supports the existing Greenkeeper in being responsible for the maintenance, care and overall appearance of the Taieri Lakes Golf Course. The greenkeeper is charged with maintaining a good playing surface to ensure the course offers a consistent challenge and an enjoyable experience to golfers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Holds a NZ Certificate in Sports Turf Management
Approved Handlers Certificate (Agrichemicals) Growsafe is desired
Holds a full NZ Driver’s licence
Previous experience working in a greenkeeping/assistant greenkeeper capacity.
Able to demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer literate – able to maintain up to date records
Able to take direction and is open to learning
Good communicator who builds positive working relationships and able to engage with a wide range of people with ease.
