Executive Assistant to Chief Marketing Officer

Are you a highly organised and proactive professional with a passion for supporting dynamic leaders in a fast-paced environment? Auckland University of Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Chief Marketing Officer, with a particular emphasis on communications and cultural competency.
As the Executive Assistant, you will be the right-hand person to our Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring the seamless functioning of their office while playing a vital role in enhancing communication strategies. You will also support 3 Directors within the Brand and Marketing Division.
This is a fast-paced environment where creativity, great communication, and strong attention to detail make us successful.
Key Responsibilities:
Calendar Management: Efficiently manage the CMO's schedule, ensuring strategic prioritisation of meetings and events.
Communication: Support the planning and execution of internal and external communications, including drafting emails, memos, and reports.
Play a pivotal advisory role in Tikanga Māori and use Te Reo in Brand and Marketing communications.
Act as a liaison between the CMO and various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication channels.
Assist in the coordination and execution of projects, providing administrative support to ensure successful implementation.
Maintain accurate and organized records, including confidential information and sensitive communications.
Qualifications:
Relevant experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a marketing, brand, or communications environment.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Salary Range:

$73,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
