About the role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join our Talent Team in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland to lead our award winning in-house Early Careers Programme.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide thought leadership, direction, and advice on driving a best in class service model and delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
Managing a team of dynamic & talented individuals.
Leading the end-to-end delivery of Early Careers recruitment across the firm including strategic sourcing and attraction, targeted marketing, matching the best talent to business requirements and onboarding.
Keeping track of recruitment metrics and activities through data analysis and reporting
Designing and delivering engagement campaigns that position PwC at the front of career decisions for a diverse pool of graduates.
Maintaining and building strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, key universities and candidates to promote PwC Talent Brand.
Work collaboratively with Partners, Senior People Leaders and broader P&C teams to attract, recruit and onboard a diverse group of talented candidates.
Manage relationships with student societies and partner organisations to ensure future talent understand the variety of career options available at PWC.
Collaborate internally to develop Talent Brand materials and targeted content for Campus events and Social Channels.
Own and administer all components of the PwC New Zealand scholarship programme which includes: yearly payments, recruitment activities, mentor relationships and summer internships placements.

Passionate about being at the forefront of Early Careers Talent Acquisition. You will need to be comfortable navigating an increasingly competitive recruitment marketplace, through innovative solutions whilst continuing to reimagine the possible.
You need to bring a wealth of knowledge of the early careers marketplace. Knowledge and networks in the local graduate and early careers sectors will be highly valued and a relevant Degree qualification is preferred.
You will have experience in dealing with high volume recruitment with a focus on delivering quality outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with impact and influence is critical to success in this role. You are a team player who thinks and acts in alignment with our values and most importantly a real passion for engaging and identifying pools of future talent for PWC.
5+ years’ talent sourcing experience in a large complex organisation, ideally in the early careers/graduate space
Previous experience of managing and operating a budget
Strong leadership capability
Sound understanding of project/programme management
Knowledge and experience of best practice recruitment methodologies, processes and outcomes.
Extensive relationship management skills as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial acumen and being adept with utilising data and analytics to ensure efficiencies across all areas of the talent sourcing lifecycle.
Experience using a Talent Acquisition System.
