Amazon Web Services New Zealand is seeking a talented, self-directed professional with a passion for demand generation to drive awareness, demand and adoption of AWS services and solutions. The ideal candidate must be able to devise a strategy, generate and deliver bold and innovative ideas to drive business growth, and tactically manage and execute programs and campaigns working closely with field sales. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business that is customer obsessed. As our Marketing Manager, you are responsible for generating demand for AWS among developers, startups/small businesses, software and enterprise customers in New Zealand. You will define and drive marketing campaigns that meet the needs of the local business, while partnering with marketing managers in Australia, the Asia Pacific, the US and other geographies to deliver global and regional marketing campaigns. The right candidate has successful experience in results-driven marketing, an unbridled passion for technology, an entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude and the ability to successfully deliver in a highly-matrixed, cross functional environment. Key job responsibilities Partner closely with sales to contribute to go-to-market strategy and plans enabling fact-based decisions through understanding local dynamics, current and emerging opportunities, and risks. Generate a 12-18 month marketing strategy that is aligned with customer need, sales and marketing objectives. Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns to successfully drive awareness, adoption, and usage of AWS through innovative and effective programs, including physical events, webinars, digital marketing campaigns and lead generation programs. Collaborate with Partner Marketing, Developer Marketing, Training & Certification & PR teams to ensure campaigns are integrated across the business. Manage the implementation, tracking, efficiency and measurement of marketing campaigns. Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies. Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
