Steel & Tube, one of New Zealand’s leading providers of steel solutions and a proud New Zealand company with over 70 years, is on the hunt for a sharp Sales Support Coordinator to join our North Coil & Purlins team in the Roll Forming division. Reporting to the National Manager, Coil & Purlins, you'll keep our customer service on point, support steady business wins across our customer base. If you're a natural communicator with a knack for the building world, this is your chance to blend relationship magic with hands‐on precision in a lively, team‐driven setup. You’ll be the trusted go‐to for our top clients, supporting their goals and quick‐fix needs to spot growth chances and smooth out any bumps along the way. You'll dive into orders, whether straight from customer emails or by the sales crew, while nailing every detail in Microsoft Dynamics AX, from purlin specs pulled via NC software to production timelines. It's all about that seamless flow: clarifying tech queries, whipping up fab sheets and run sheets, syncing with production and logistics for spot‐on picking, packing, and deliveries. You'll even lend a hand to the National Manager on admin fronts, keeping everything humming with your eye for accuracy and remaining cool under pressure. It's rewarding work that feels like you're truly building something solid. Key Responsibilities

Nurture key customer ties, tackle challenges head‐on, and lock in smart pricing. Process orders via AX, create documents, and handle dispatch from start to finish. Manage direct email orders and sales input with laser‐sharp accuracy. Back the National Manager on admin to keep the wheels turning.
About You
Building industry know‐how would be an advantage, but not essential. Customer service wins, plus top‐notch numerical and communication skills, are critical. A pro at building rapport, solving puzzles, and breaking down the tricky stuff simply. Detail‐focused, multitasking, who lives for great service and team support. Solid in Microsoft Office; AX or strong CRM experience is a big plus. Business, customer service, sales, or marketing qualifications are a bonus.
