What you'll do:
As a Mechanical Engineer at Aurecon, you'll contribute to multidisciplinary projects across both Aotearoa and Australia, working closely with clients and colleagues to solve challenges with creativity and purpose. You'll have opportunities to visit site, strengthen relationships, and broaden your experience in a hands-on environment.
What you'll bring:
A degree in mechanical engineering
4–7 years' post-graduate experience in mechanical design and delivery
Knowledge of industrial pressure regulations (PECPR) and piping standards (e.g., ASME B31.3)
Experience with piping analysis software such as Auto PIPE, PIPE-FLO, or similar
A problem-solving mindset and a drive to innovate on complex technical challenges
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences
A collaborative approach with a proven track record in high-performing project teams
Experience leading small projects or work packages and an interest in project ownership (preferred)

Advancing into client-facing or leadership roles, such as project engineer or client leader
Being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and gaining confidence to lead projects
