What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer at Aurecon, you’ll contribute to multi-discipline projects across Aotearoa and Australia, working closely with clients and colleagues to solve challenges with creativity and purpose. You’ll have opportunities to visit site, strengthen relationships, and broaden your experience in a hands-on environment.
What you’ll bring
A degree in mechanical engineering
4–7 years’ post-graduate experience in mechanical design and delivery
Knowledge of industrial pressure regulations (PECPR) and piping standards (e.g., ASME B31.3)
Experience with piping analysis software such as Auto PIPE, PIPE-FLO, or similar
A problem-solving mindset and a drive to apply innovation to complex challenges
Clear, confident communication skills—both written and verbal—tailored to diverse audiences
A collaborative approach with a track record of contributing to high-performing project teams
Ideally, experience leading small projects or work packages and an interest in project ownership
