$74.22 - $97.54 + $7500 per annum (prorated) Family Planning is New Zealand's leading sexual and reproductive health organisation. As a medical practitioner in the role of Medical Lead, you will provide medical leadership, improve professional development and standards of clinical practice, proactively improve Maori sexual and reproductive health and participate in the clinical governance group to develop and support evidence-based client care. This is a part-time role and can be between 16 – 24 hours per week. In addition to this you will complete 40 hours clinical work per year. We are open to discussing hours for the successful candidate. You will be located in our Newmarket Clinic (This role can also be based in Christchurch or Wellington). This role requires frequent travel across New Zealand. You will report to the Medical Director and work collaboratively with people across Family Planning. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the day-to-day delivery of high-quality client focused care. Supporting Family Planning's commitment to equity. Frequent domestic travel. Medical Leadership and support to Doctors. To be considered for the role you will have: Qualified medical practitioner, with current APC (required). Vocational registration in family planning and reproductive health, or related scope (preferred). Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience in relevant area. Experience working in sexual and reproductive health or gynaecology. Previous medical leadership experience (preferred).
