The role focuses on the health, welfare, and safety of residents, security of the buildings, and providing leadership and support to rostered Residential Advisers. A key skill is engaging with a diverse range of residents, many of whom are away from home for the first time. Experience in health or accommodation sectors and the ability to work rostered shifts are desirable. You will advise and guide Residential Advisers to ensure they work confidently within their roles, bringing clarity of thought and maturity to decision-making, especially in urgent situations. You will influence, persuade, and support residents to foster a sense of community and belonging within the halls. Applicants should: Enjoy working with young people from diverse backgrounds transitioning to independence. Be approachable and trusted, capable of managing wellbeing and behavioral situations with skill and care. Have proficient computer skills, including using database and reporting systems. Have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Be able to work overnight shifts on a four-on, four-off roster.
