Work is based in our new Wellness Hub in Caversham, Dunedin and hours may be negotiated to suit your lifestyle.
We're looking for a team member who is has the ability to support the cultural beliefs and aspirations of tūroro and whānau, who has excellent communication skills, and a track record of sensitive engagement.
You will be supported in your clinical practice by the Clinical Director, in your professional development and cultural competency by the Public Health Tuakana, and report ultimately to the General Manager – Health Services.
With active participation in the health team, you will be encouraged to grow your knowledge and practice.

Qualifications & experience Has NZ Nursing Registration and a post-graduate education in prescribing.
Can support the cultural beliefs and aspirations of tūroro and whānau Has a strong ability to work collaboratively with GPs and other clinicians Has excellent communication skills and a track record of sensitive engagement Tasks & responsibilities Collaborative assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment for tūroro presenting with both undifferentiated diagnosis and complex needs Support tūroro to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles and apply principles of self-care.
