The Waipa district is recognised as a key location for future development, growth, and investment, being categorised as one of the high growth regions in New Zealand. As you can imagine, that means we are going to be having more parks, playgrounds, and recreation areas to maintain. Today, the Waipā district has more than 320 hectares of recreation land available for public use which we want to keep in pristine shape for both locals and visitors to enjoy. Thousands of assets such as playgrounds, sports fields, cycleways, furniture, and trees within these areas are recorded in our database.
Position: Asset Data Analyst

We are looking for a new Asset Data Analyst to join our team. This role will be ideal for someone who loves making sense of facts and figures! You will be the master of the Asset Management Information System (AMIS), ensuring processes are in place to record asset information, audit the data for completeness and accuracy, complete in-field verification and condition assessments of assets, and provide essential reports to assist in the development of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) and maintenance programmes.
