This role involves providing one-on-one tutoring to adult learners in the criminal justice system who are eager to improve their reading and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one literacy tutoring sessions.
Develop personalised lesson plans tailored to the learner's needs.
Track and report on the learner's progress.

Requirements:
Strong command of the English language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident, calm, patient and empathetic with a genuine desire to help others.
Previous tutoring, mentoring or teaching experience would be an advantage.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Time commitment:
Can commit to a few hours per week, flexible.
Dependent on individual assignment.
