Workstream Lead
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead the policy workstream of a key transformation programme within a unique public sector organisation.
This role will be instrumental in driving the development, delivery, and embedding of new HR policies and guidelines within a high-profile transformation programme.
The position requires a Project delivery specialist first and foremost, with a strong background in HR and/or operational policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of project outputs to achieve the agreed recommendations within the Policy workstream.
Manage day-to-day delivery operations, including reporting, budget management, and governance arrangements.
Provide expert technical advice aligned with organizational policies to support deliverables.
Manage and mentor specialist resources within the workstream.
Coordinate effectively across the organization to align project outputs with Business as Usual (BAU) initiatives and other priority projects.
Ensure stakeholder engagement and communication are effective, including with operational personnel, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members, and union representatives.
Lead the drafting of governance papers for ELT, Board, and other relevant stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships as required and oversee planning and execution issues and risks related to the team.
Create comprehensive project documentation in line with organizational methodology.
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong background in HR Policy development and implementation, ideally within a complex organizational setting.
Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing budgets, resources, and governance processes.
Familiarity with risk management practices and the ability to proactively identify and address issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach.
