The Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Specialist to join our busy Timaru Branch. We are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and develop in their next role. The Parts Specialist is responsible for front-line parts sales and support to our internal and external customers, as well as inventory management and parts purchasing. Key Responsibilities Interpreting and processing customer requests Providing service to internal customers for parts Picking and packing parts and components Following up on customer quotes Sourcing parts from other sources as required Utilising your highly developed communication skills Exercising your strong computer skills, data entry accuracy and attention to detail Being highly organised in your approach to your work Customer Service and Relationship Management Being an active and contributing member of the CPL team and communicating appropriately to all Cable Price employees Health and Safety You will have: Excellent customer service skills Proven organisational and planning skills Engage positively with customers & staff Good level of computer literacy The ability to perform under pressure and to prioritise and multitask in a time-driven environment Knowledge of the automotive or heavy transport industry would be desirable and will prove beneficial.
