About the Role As part of the Nelson Marlborough hospital pharmacy service, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective medication management for hospital inpatients and outpatients. As a pharmacist, you are responsible for: Dispensing and supplying medications in accordance with hospital protocols and national standards. Providing clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation and optimization of treatments. Offering professional advice to healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers to promote safe medication use. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital guidelines for medication management. Supporting stock management, including procurement and safe storage of medicines. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
