We don't have accommodation on-site, but plenty of pickers in the past have stayed at College House or Anndion Lodge.

Berry picking positions available are raspberries and a small number of strawberries.

We pick while standing in trolleys, which minimizes stress on the body but requires quick hand movements.

Our entire strawberry and raspberry crop is covered, so rain days don't occur.

However, weather affects the quantity of strawberries available for picking (long days follow good sunshine).

Crop maintenance work is available for good workers if picking finishes earlier than expected due to cold weather.

Most people are rostered for 5-6 days a week.

The farm operates every day except Christmas Day (time and a half on Boxing Day + time in lieu; last season top staff earned $900 inclusive on Boxing Day).

Working in tunnels can be hot, especially in the middle of the day.

Packhouse positions are available for candidates with prior packing experience.

Onboarding new staff is between 1st November and 10th December, with options available to finish on Christmas Eve or work through until mid-February as work slows down.
