Job Description
We are looking for an experienced policy or technical writer who can hit the ground running to lead the streamlining of corporate policies for this large complex government organisation.
What you will be doing: Complete a Stocktake of current policies
Design a streamlined policy framework (including categorisation, taxonomy, quality assurance, review cycle, ownership)
Change & communications - Engage with colleagues and relevant internal stakeholders including audit teams.
Stakeholder engagement: Partner with policy owners to embed governance processes and ensure consistent adoption.
What you will bring: Senior‑level experience designing or improving corporate policies including expertise in categorisation, taxonomy, drafting and lifecycle management.
Experience in change and communication engagement.
Excellent written communication — able to simplify, structure and harmonise complex content.
Ability to operate independently, build relationships quickly, and deliver outcomes within defined timeframes.
