Practice Manager (Property & Environment) - Fixed Term Contract We are looking for a highly capable and efficient Practice Manager to join our Auckland Real Estate Division (made up of our property and environment teams) on a fixed term basis while the current PM is on parental leave. This position requires someone self-motivated who is committed to providing efficient and proactive legal support to the team and external clients, while leading and developing the team's two Practice Administrators. Working in a friendly and inclusive team environment, we are looking for someone to slot in with the same drive, enthusiasm and passion for excellence. The Practice Manager is responsible for managing workflows, event coordination, business development and marketing initiatives, overseeing the seamless running of administration support tasks for the team including diary management, inbox management, billing, CRM data entry and arranging meetings. Our ideal candidate is someone who is versed in the pressures of property law and understands the nuances of LINZ, e-dealings, title searches and settlements. This position requires someone keen to champion change, to streamline processes, and to work with the practice administrators, authors and Partners to ensure the team runs efficiently. Our ideal candidate will:have a minimum of 5 years' (ideally legal) administration experience, including billing.have experience supporting a busy team with multiple tasks and competing deadlines.be extremely self-motivated, organised and able to work autonomously.have exceptional management and mentoring skills, and the ability to delegate effectively.strong organisational and prioritisation skills.the ability to listen and understand business requirements.the ability to develop positive and strong working relationships with internal and external clients.have strong IT skills.
