Seatoun School Board of Trustees – Seatoun Role Overview: The school is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic librarian to manage their future-focused library hub.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about literacy and creating a welcoming environment for Year 0–8 students.

Literacy Advocacy: Leading creative displays, events, and initiatives to engage students in the joy of reading.
Collection Management: Cataloguing new library and teaching resources and maintaining a high-quality, relevant collection using library management systems.
Student Engagement: Coordinating the student librarian programme, supporting children in finding resources and delivering class and small group lessons (you will be supported in the planning and delivery of these).
Collaboration: Working alongside teachers to provide resources that support the curriculum and inquiry learning.
What We Are Looking For: Experience working with primary-aged children and a strong knowledge of children's literature.
Technical proficiency (Google Apps for Education, library software and willingness and ability to learn IT apps/programmes).
A recognised library qualification (or a willingness to work toward one).
Excellent communication skills and a "customer service" heart.
