We have two exciting opportunities to join our newly consolidated Enterprise Procurement team as a Procurement Partner.
Our Procurement Partners work with the business unit to gain an understanding of their business needs and together with in depth knowledge of market capability, they develop, implement, and monitor strategies to satisfy those differing needs, with accountability for performance (total cost, quality, and delivery).
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Manage and be accountable for the procurement activities of the business units you have been assigned.
Lead, deliver, and drive all procurement and commercial activity in coordination with the business.
Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Develop/drive a strategic approach to achieve savings targets and to regularly report on initiatives and savings.
You’ll work as part of a team of Senior Procurement Partners, Procurement Partners and Advisors, taking an enterprise view in a business partnerships structure and engaging with internal business units as a trusted advisor. You’ll provide advice and support to the business to deal with a range of different procurement related needs.
These are permanent, Wellington based roles.
The base salary range for this role is $101,287 - $142,993 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

To be successful in this role you will have:
A good understanding and application of NZGPR, to support and enable the delivery of innovative procurement solutions, strategies, and end-to-end procurements aligned to ACC’s enterprise strategy Huakina Te Rā.
An in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and approaches that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori as the Crown's Tiriti partners.
Relevant, intermediate level commercial or procurement experience and experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes within a commercial environment.
Ability to turn insights into initiatives to improve relationships.
Ability to work strategically to influence outcomes.
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
