Responsibilities
• Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for creating climate data enablement in New Zealand
• Build and lead a multi-disciplinary team
• Deliver product design and management
• Engage with and work alongside iwi/Maori
• Co-lead partnerships with hapu/iwi/Maori, businesses, central & local government
• Establish priorities and pathways to transform how New Zealand uses climate data
• Grow and lead a team of direct and indirect reports
• Build a strong team culture
• Coach and uplift the capability of others
• Deliver high-quality advice to Ministers and senior leaders
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience in Agile product leadership
• Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and partners
• Knowledge of customer needs and problem-solving
• Experience in using data to make product and design decisions
• Strong focus on delivery and prioritization
• Understanding of web technology stacks
• Cultural capability in te ao Maori
• Strong political nous
• Demonstrable leadership qualities
