Provide project coordination to support delivery of the Crown Response programmeFixed term until 30 June 2023 or secondmentWellington based preferred Mo matou | About the Crown Response Unit The Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry (the Royal Commission) was established in 2018 to investigate the experiences of tamariki, rangatahi and vulnerable adults in State and faith-based care between 1950 and 1999. It is due to provide its final report in June 2023. The Crown Response Unit (CRU) was set up in February 2019. Our work is overseen by social and justice sectors Chief Executives, under the Ministerial leadership of the Minister for Public Services. We lead the Crown's response to the Royal Commission, in collaboration with other agencies. We support government agencies get information and records to the Royal Commission in a timely and helpful way. We also support the Crown to respond to the Royal Commission's interim reports, including its interim report on redress. The report recommended creating a new, independent, trauma-informed, holistic redress system, which the Government has agreed to do. The redress work programme is a primary focus of the Crown Response Unit. Developing (in consultation with stakeholders) robust project schedules including identifying sequence of tasks, dependencies between tasks and effort to completeManaging the project plan, reviewing the plans regularly to ensure tasks and milestones are being achieved in a timely manner.
