You won’t be pigeon holed in this role and you won’t be stuck behind a desk. You will take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work alongside a highly qualified, talented, dynamic and passionate team, ensuring all project objectives are met. Please note, this role is full-time and permanent.
About the role
Build strong & open relationships with clients, sub-contractors & suppliers, ensuring future relationships
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards
Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and project team members
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date
Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement
About you:
Be well versed in civil and mechanical construction and familiar with all site activities
Understand the A-Z of project delivery
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or a related role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with project management software and tools
The ability to travel and work effectively on sites away from the office
Passionate about delivering top notch service to clients while having fun along the way
