About you You have a broad range of technical expertise across a range of IT products and systems. You can successfully build partnerships with clients, and keep people informed and on-track. You know how to manage every step of a project from resourcing and planning to budget and delivery. You can translate customer needs into project outcomes, and you are proactive in assessing and making improvements to processes. You have strong people-management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You know project management methodologies and can follow set processes. About the role This role sits within the Portfolio Delivery function and is responsible for the oversight and management of entire tech projects, including for Fletcher Building's construction, distribution businesses, and corporate functions. The role involves looking after projects from inception, identifying project resources, developing business cases, overseeing finances, managing budgets and risk, maintaining proper governance, and project delivery. This role acts as an ambassador for FletcherTech. It represents the team in front of Fletcher Building businesses and steering committees. This role suits someone who can build strong relationships with project sponsors, Heads of IT and GMs of IT, and work well with project team members and vendors. Your previous experience will demonstrate: •Success in planning and managing projects within time and budget constraints. •At least 3-5 years' experience successfully running IT and technology projects. •Exceptional people, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. •Practical application of leading SDLC methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM and SAFe. •A relevant tertiary qualification (business or IT-related).
