About the Role
They are seeking an intermediate to senior-level project manager, ideally with vertical project experience on the consultancy side.
The role offers support from a senior project manager and mentoring. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing the project by appointing consultants, producing feasibility studies, monitoring statutory processes, and advising on procurement options.
- Managing the construction phase, including QA/risk, financial reporting, budget management, programming, defects, remedial works, and project reporting.
- Managing stakeholders and leading meetings.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should come from a construction consultancy or client-side background with 5+ years of NZ-based experience across industries such as aged care, high-rise residential, health, education, utilities, and rail. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, a tenacious attitude, and a passion for their work. Strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and industry presence are key to success.
Remuneration and Benefits
Salary: $120 K - $130 K + Benefits. Outstanding career advancement opportunities.
